1. Welcome!
Visit Owlstown and click on "Create your free website.
On the Welcome screen, click on the "Let's get started" button to proceed.
At the bottom of the screen, you'll find Orla, Owlstown's mascot. She will show up from time to time as you use Owlstown.

2. Name
Enter your name and some info, so your visitors know whose website they are looking at.
3. Site Avatar
Replace the placeholder avatar with your picture or a letter avatar.
You can also choose to not have a site avatar.

4. About You and Your Research
Write about yourself and your research. A paragraph with a couple of sentences is enough to start with.
5. Link to Social and Academic Profiles
Help people find your other research content online by link to your social and academic profiles.
6. Customize the Design
Customize the design of your academic website by selecting a theme, color, and font.
7. Add Publications
Easily import your publications by using search or by importing a BibTeX file.
8. Congratulations!
